Rajkummar Rao Starrer ‘Newton’ Will Be Featured American Film Institute Fest 2017

Rajkummar Rao starrer ‘Newton’ has to be the most rated movies of the year, it has been all over the world, and it has impressed everyone at the International Film Festivals. After the official announcement of its being the Indian entry for the Oscars, the movie took a huge turn at the Box Office and became one of the most successful movies of the year. It is directed by Amit Masurkar and also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Anjali Patil, and Raghubir Yadav. Now the movie is all set to premiere at the American Film Institute (AFI) Fest, the screening also marked the Los Angeles premiere of the film on November 12. Amit stated that it was an honour for them to screen their film at the AFI Fest. “What’s great about being in this festival is that it is absolutely free for the audience”, he said. The accomplishment of ‘Newton’ is way beyond our expectations, the movie has been appreciated everywhere and quite frankly, it’s the best movie for the Oscars this year, we hope that it will get recognition as the grandest stage of them all for the movies. The movie showed the brilliance of Rajkummar Rao as an actor, which he shows in every film, he has done some amazing work this year, first he was seen in ‘Trapped’ and gave a phenomenal performance, then he was seen in the rom-com ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ and shocked everyone with his performance, he has also done movies like ‘Behen Hogi Teri’, which didn’t work out at the Box Office but he was appreciated.
