‘Pinjra Todd Ke Udd Jaana Hai’ From Movie 'Simran' Is Sure To Become An Anthem For Women

After a happy wedding song, ‘Lagdi Hai Thaai’, the makers of ‘Simran’ movie that stars Kangana Ranaut have released a song which will soon be an anthem of women, who are seeking a break through from the clutches of the stereotypical mindset of the society about women. The song titled ‘Pinjra Todd Ke Udd Jaana Hai’ is an inspirational and uplifting song, which is sure to get you a wide smile on your face with its lyrics penned by Priya Saraiya and composed by Sachin-Jigar. The song has been sung by  Sunidhi Chauhan, and her voice adds to the beauty of the number. The song is picturised on actress Kangana  Ranaut where we see her doing her job, having fun, and laughing. The song gives us glimpses of the scenes we saw in the trailer. The reports suggest that the movie ‘Simran’ is inspired by the story of Sandeep Kaur, an Indian, who is currently serving her jail term in the US, due to her notorious bank thefts. She loved to gamble and lost a lot of money and then in order to pay her debts resulted in her resorting to robbery. ‘Simran’ will be hitting the theatres on September 15, 2017.
