Marathi film "Court" to represent India in Oscars

For the 8th Academy Awards, the jury of Indian cinema headed by Amol Palekar and others have selected the Marathi film "Court". Amol Palekar and his team did this selection from a list of 30 movies. Film Court has been selected for the genre of best foreign language movie. The story of Court is about the death of a popular folk singer of Mumbai. This singer was dead during his hearing in the court. This film has already won awards in 17 international film festivals. Apart from Marathi,  this movie has even been released in Gujarati,  Hindi and English. The 88th Oscar award ceremony will start from 28 February in Los Angeles.
