Mahira Khan to promote Raees over Skype

In the aftermath of ban on Pakistani artistes in India, Mahira Khan is thinking of giving interviews over Skype for her Bollywood debut film Raees, suggests report in Mid-Day. Initially, the makers have decided to keep her away from all the promotional activities of the Film starring Shah Rukh Khan. But now as the release date of Raees is nearing, the actress may think of giving interviews on social media. In the wake of 2016 Uri Attack on 18th September 2016, all the Pakistani artists have been banned from working in Bollywood industry. MNS banned all the films featuring Pakistani actors. Later the party lifted the ban by putting some pre-conditions. MNS and Indian Motion Picture Producers Association have banned the artists from our neighboring country stating that they are not condemning the Uri Attack. It has been more than 3 months since the ban was imposed; there has not been any change in the situation as of now. It is likely to remain same for very long time. Shah Rukh Khan met the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray to discuss the release of his film Raees which features Pakistani actress Mahira Khan. SRK have assured Raj Thackeray that Mahira khan won’t be coming to India for the promotion of the movie. Nawazuddin Siddiqui is confident about his role Now it seems that the makers of Raees are looking to intensify the promotion of their upcoming film. If we believe in the reports, then Mahira Khan may be joining the Raees team for promotional activities via Skype. Now, what Raj Thackeray has to say about it, we’ll have to wait and watch? Raees's new song will release on Makar Sankranti Raees is an upcoming Bollywood action thriller film directed by Rahul Dholakia and produced by Red Chillies and Excel Entertainment. The movie stars Shah Rukh Khan, Mahira Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The music of the movie has been composed by Ram Sampath. It is releasing on 25th January 2017 with Hrithik Roshan starrer Kaabil.
