Mahakaali Lord Shiva aka Sourabh Jain: Being Offered Similar Costume Dramic Roles Makes The Actor Annoy

  A sad news for all the Mahakaali, Anth Hi Aarambh Hai viewers as the show will go off air on August 5, 2018. In the show, Sourabh Jain played the epitome role of Lord Shiva. This is not his first show where he played a mythological character. Before that, he was spotted as Lord Krishna in Mahabharat in 2013 and as Lord Vishnu in Devon Ke Dev… Mahadev. Sourabh Raaj is a well known Television face and much-loved actor. He raised an important issue regarding the casting of a similar genre. the actor has been a typecast of a particular role. Ever since the people know about pack up of Mahakaali show, he being offered similar roles. In fact, almost 95 per cent of the offers is a mythological genre. The actor was approached for Krishna’s character in almost every mythological show, but he chooses not to be part of them. As he didn’t want to repeat himself. However, when Siddharth Kumar Tewary offered him the role of Shiva, he took it as a challenge and an opportunity to showcase his versatility which is indeed worth for applaud. The actor will take a break from costume dramas.  The actor wants to explore the other roles and wishes to be part of a love story, which has well-etched-out characters. He is right now on a break and waits for something different and in the meanwhile, continue to work on himself. He doesn't wish about playing mythological characters, as time soon.  He is on break in order to remind people that he has done daily soaps and youth-based shows too and reminding them of his versatility as an actor Sourabh was recently blessed with twin babies. A baby boy and a baby girl. Sourabh seems to be on cloud nine ever since then and is all set to embrace fatherhood in style.
