Karan Johar announces ‘Drive’ with Sushant Singh Rajput and Jacqueline Fernandez

  Sushant Singh Rajput and Jacqueline have begun work on Karan Johar’s latest franchise 'Drive'. The project that is being directed by Tarun Mansukhani is the first film in the series, as announced by Karan. The filmmaker took to Twitter on Wednesday to make the official announcement by sharing a picture of Sushant and Jacqueline holding the film's clapperboard while standing in front of an orange supercar. Here`s the first picture from the sets of `Drive` Tarun Mansukhani last directed Dostana way back in 2008 which was a big hit and people still cheer the movie when it comes to comedy. This is Sushant and Jacqueline`s first chemistry on screen and fans are very eager to see them together for the first time. Sushant was an acclaimed TV actor before who rose to fame with his hit daily soap `Pavitra Rishta` and when coming to Bollywood he again proved himself with his debut hit `Kai Po Che` and many hit movies. His recent release `M.S. Dhoni- The Untold Story` was a big hit and Sushant`s performance was hugely applauded. Jacqueline Fernandez is Sri Lankan actress, model, and the winner of the 2006 Miss Universe Sri Lanka pageant. As Miss Universe Sri Lanka, she represented her country at the 2006 world Miss Universe pageant.  She graduated with a degree in mass communication from the University of Sydney and worked as a television reporter in Sri Lanka.
