'Indu Sarkar' Box Office Collection Day Wise Budget Hit or Flop

Indu Sarkar Box Office Collection - Madhur Bhandarkar’s most awaited movie ‘Indu Sarkar’ finally released in the theatres yesterday on 28^th of July. Since the release of the movie’s trailer, the movie ran into several controversies, censorship battles, and court cases. The movie brings out the true picture of the time of Emergency in our country is an engrossing and hard hitting story. The movie has got rave reviews from the audiences and the critics and is sure to pick up the pace later in the coming week. The movie made on a budget of Rs. 11 crore was released all over India on 825 screens all over the country. This has been Madhur’s strategy so far with his movies that he releases them on a fewer number of screens and with the show timings which suit the audience the movie is going to appeal to. The director believes that bombarding the movie in a huge number of screens is not an ideal way to go, instead, the release should be planned in a way that it reaches the target audiences and then when the movie picks up its pace with the word of mouth, more screens and shows should be added. The movie ‘Indu Sarkar’ went on to earn Rs. 1.42 Crore on its opening day and looking at the praises the movie is receiving from the audiences and the critics the earning might pick up over the weekend.
