Kapil Sharma's mid-air fight with fellow comedian Sunil Grover is no secret. It will go down as the most controversial matter in the history of Indian entertainment industry. It was making headlines for quite some time. Everyone knows what happened to The Kapil Sharma Show after that incident. The TRP of the show started going down pretty fast. Currently, the show is off-air, as Kapil decided to take a break for the health issue. At the trailer launch of his upcoming film 'Firangi', the ace comedian opened up about that controversial issue for the first time. The actor confessed about going into depression after his fight with Sunil. There were several rumors of canceled episodes with Shah Rukh Khan and Ajay Devgn. During the press conference, Kapil insisted on Sunil being a very good friend. He also said how much respect he has for Sunil Grover. Kapil even invited Sunil Grover for the launch of Firangi trailer, but it didn't work out. Yes, Sunil could not make it to the event, as he was out of station due to some work commitments. Talking about the same Kapil said, "Main chahta tha ki Sunil mera trailer launch karein. Maine unhe message kiya tha punjabi mein. So he asked me kahaan. Toh maine kaha ‘itthe’. Toh unhone reply back kiya ki woh abhi Canada mein hain." (I invited Sunil for the trailer launch in Punjabi. In reply, he asked me where, so I said here. Then he replied me back saying that he can't be here, as he was in Canada.) Kapil Sharma also talked about that mid-air fight with Sunil Grover. The popular comedian said, "I was so irritated because of many things. Once we reached Australia, I was in a bad mood, as one of the crew members on my film had passed away. I had done a scene with him a night ago and the next day he was no more. I was so nervous and negative. Then Maan Sahab came and I found some positivity. I wanted to cancel the Australia show as it was extremely foggy there and offered to reimburse the producers. But the offer was rejected as digital tickets had already been sold. So, we had to go."
