Gul Makai Trailer Out Today : A Birthday Offering To "Malana Yousafzai"
The youngest and bravest Nobel laureate, Malala Yousafzai birthday is today and filmmaker Amjad Khan has another reason to celebrate the day as his latest flick Gul Makai first official trailer is released on the same day based on the hard sacrificing life of Malana, a Pakistani & Canadian decedent, an activist of female education known for human rights advocacy especially the rights and education of her native place swat valley, northern Pakistan. The most prominent member of Pakistan according to Prime Minister Shahid Abbasi because of her international sensational approach.
This coincidence is pre-planned by the makers'of the film and wishes to launch it on this special day to offer a tribute to a such strong determined young girl who fights against such inhuman religious group who aims to destruct the rights of women and children in particular and let them live under the life of constant fear and suppression.
The captivating trailer begins with a voice by Kabir Bedi, “When God said Jihaad he meant the spirit of fighting all that is dark and benevolent. But the need and greed of some human beings changed that meaning into something else.” As the narration continues, shots of guns by the Taliban on the people of Pakistan and Afghanistan pulls together one really fascinating story.

At the age of just 17 Malana is youngest to hold the title of Nobel Peace Prize. The movie tells you the journey of a young girl who survived assassination by the Taliban in 2012 and she fought against it. Malana runs the non-profit organisation Malana Fund and co-writer of her bio book I-am Malana, a best international seller.
The film casts Reem Shaikh, Divya Dutt, Mukesh Rishi and Ajaz Khan Directed by Amjad Khan. The release day will come out soon.
