Kalki in an interview talked about Pay gap issue and said that in film industry, heroines can only get more money than heros, if they are Priyanka Chopra. She also raised question on Objectification of women in Films. She talked about discrimination on women's in Bollywood. Kalki said, 'Bollywood is also Male dominated like our society. Once I met a producer, he asked my age, I told him 30 years, then he replied, ‘Don’t worry, you still have five years left.’Another producer showed me the exact spot on my face where I needed to get a botox.' Kalki also expressed her happiness on doing women-oriented films such as Piku and Queen.
