First Song From Bold And Beautiful ‘Lipstick Under My Burkha’ – Watch It Here

The moviemakers of ‘Lipstick Under My Burkha’ are openly calling the movie to be the most controversial movie of the year. The trailer of the movie was recently released and it took the social media by storm as it showed the bold and beautiful aspect of four women, their wild sexual fantasies and otherwise dull and boring lives.

And now the makers have released the first song from the movie. The song ‘Le Li Jaan’ is a carnival song which is based on a popular Afghani Folk song. The song is composed and sung by Zebunnisa Bangash who is a part of Zeb Haniya duo, and the lyrics of the movie penned by Anvita Dutt.

The movie 'Lipstick Under My Burkha' colourfully showcases the secret lives of four gutsy women who are chasing their secret fantasies. The movie has been created keeping in mind the women’s vision and perspective and the idea behind it to tell the people how a woman actually thinks behind her so-called veil.

After LSD, The Dirty Picture, Udta Punjab, Shobhaa Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor of ALT Entertainment proudly presents Lipstick Under My Burkha, Directed by Alankrita Shrivastava, Produced by Prakash Jha, The movie was earlier banned in India and faced a long battle at the censor board before finally getting a releases date of July 21^st 2017.
