Filmmaker Amole Gupte To Turn Singer For His Upcoming Movie ‘Sniff’

Amole Gupte is known for making children-centric films, he has made movies like ‘Taare Zameen Par’, ‘Stanley Ka Dabba’, ‘Hawa Hawaai’ and now he is coming up with another children film ‘Sniff’. Recently, the trailer of the movie was released and it is not just a children film, there is a lot in the movie. The story of the movie is unique and something new; it’s something which is never done in Bollywood before. The movie will tell the story of a young boy Sunny Gill, who is 8 years old, he has no sense of smell, but an accident happens and gets the power of having a sharp sense of smell, he can smell everything, he can smell what’s good and what’s bad. The plot of the movie is obviously interesting; the plot is similar to a French film ‘Perfume: The Story Of A Murderer’. However, that was a dark psychological thriller, this is more light hearted and is for children. Well, the director of the movie Amole Gupte is set to make his singing debut with this movie, he will give his voice to the track ‘Naak’, the song is written by Gupte himself and composed by Mujtaba Aziz Naza. Gupte said that he has sung before but this is the first time he will be singing a full-fledged song. The song will be available in two versions and in one of them, Gupte will lend his voice. Gupte is one of the most talented people in the Industry, not only he directs and writes the movies, he also acts. He has acted in many movies and impressed everyone; in 2009 film ‘Kaminey’ he shocked everyone with his performance, then he played the role of the antagonist in Ajay Devgn’s ‘Singham Returns’. ‘Sniff’ will release on 25^th August 2017.
