The Director Duo Raj & DK To Direct The Hindi Remake Of Korean Film ‘A Hard Day’

The director duo Raj & DK recently directed ‘A Gentleman’ starring Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez in the lead role, which didn’t work out at the Box Office, the movie came out as a disappointment with harsh reviews and unimpressive Box Office collection. However, now the directors are looking forward to their next projects, recently it was announced that they are planning a movie starring Kriti Sanon in the lead role. Well, now it looks like they have their eyes on a different project, it’s been reported that Raj & DK will be directing the Hindi remake of the Korean Super Hit film ‘A Hard Day’, which was released on 2015. The movie was featured at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival and also won appreciation from the critics. Currently, the directors are working on the scripts; they also revealed that the movie will begin its production in 2018. “‘A Hard Day’ is a very good thriller with unrelenting suspense. It will be a very interesting challenge to adapt this to a Hindi film. We will do our best in making this film. Tim Thomas, the CEO of Kross Pictures, which was the production company of ‘A Hard Day’ said that he is very happy with Indian contents and they are moving towards building a strong footprint in India. He also praised Raj and DK as a filmmaker, he said, “partnering with Raj & DK is amazing, I think we have found the right sensibilities for the remake”. Raj & DK have movies like ‘Go Goa Gone’, ‘Shor In The City’, ‘Happy Ending’ and ‘A Gentleman’ in their resume, it would be interesting to see the directing this thriller.
