Delhi Government asked Bollywood actors not to promote the Tabacoo

Delhi Government has requested not to do promotion of products like tobacco to Bollywood actors like Ajay Devgan, Shahrukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Govinda, Arbaaz Khan and Sunny Leone. Delhi Government says this has Supari in this which can cause cancer in future. Delhi Government asked the actors to join anti-tabacoo campaign. From Government side, Additional Director (Health) said in a letter to actors, You most of the time are seen promoting Tabacoo on TV or other mediums. However, These tabacoo does not contain Nicotine in it, but this has Supari in it, which can lead to cancer in future.' Apart from this he wrote, For some Pan Masala, 'Tabacco products gets promoted and this is wrong.' Arora said that useage of Tabacoo is getting increased in Indian Women as compared from outside and ads are playing the main role in the promting E-Cigrette and Hukka. Further he wrote, 'You are a role model of the youth. They see you with all attention and will try to adopt for lifestyle. There brands attracted the audience very smarty and the useage of this thing has been increased a lot. I request you to not promote Pan Masala, This harms the health of the youth but I would suggest you to join the Anti-tabacco campaign to help people from dying.'
