Censor Board denied to give certificate to film Lipstick Under My Burkha

The title Lipstick Under My Burkha is something unique and can attract the audience but this film is too offensive for CBFC that they have denied giving certificate to this women-oriented movie. Which means now the film can't get a release. The film has made under the banner of Prakash Jha's and it has directed by Alankrata Srivastava. In January the makers arranged the special screening for CBFC means censor board of the film. During the screening, CDFC told that this film can't get a certificate and for that, they told a reason. According to a letter to from CBFC, the story of the film is women-oriented and there are many scenes which are full of fantasy. Those scenes are packed with sex, abusive language, and audio pornography. These scenes are so sensitive for one part of society. The twitter handle of the film has shared the official letter of the censor board which they have got from CBFC.
