Box Office Predictions Of ‘MOM’ And ‘Guest Iin London’

This week two movies are scheduled to release, first Sridevi and Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer ‘MOM’ and the second Karthik Aryan and Paresh Rawal starrer ‘Guest Iin London’. Two films of completely different genres, ‘MOM’, from the trailer appear to be an intense thriller, while ‘Guest Iin London’ is a comedy movie. So, the question is which movie will come at the top, a hard-hitting thriller or a light comedy. Well, after the release of Salman Khan’s ‘Tubelight’ it’s hard to speculate about the movies. ‘Tubelight’ was expected to be one of the biggest hits of this year but it was a big disappointment. But here it is pretty easy, with the storyline and star power, there’s no question that ‘Mom’ will be a bad film. As per the number goes, it’s safe to say that on the first day ‘Mom’ will earn around 4-5 crores, while ‘Guest iin London’ will stand with 1-2 crores. The second-day collections might have a huge difference; because as of now everyone will know how good ‘Mom’ is so it will go with 5-5.5 crores and ‘Guest iin London’ with 2 crores. On the big day Sunday, the movies will stand with ‘Mom’ around 6 crores and ‘Guest iin London’ with 2 crores. Considering the fact that the following week Ranbir Kapoor and Katrin Kaif starrer ‘Jagga Jasoos’ will release, which is again expected to open big. So we can speculate that ‘Mom’ will stand with 25-30 crores while ‘Guest iin London’ will go with approx. 10 crores. Both the movies are of different genres and should not be compared. This week is a treat for movie lovers. If you like comedies go for ‘Guest iin London’ and if you like thrillers ‘MOM’ is best for you.
