'Baywatch' Priyanka Chopra's Debut Hollywood Movie Gets An 'A' Certificate From Censor Board

Priyanka Chopra the Bollywood actress who has now spread her wings in Hollywood as well is ready with her first Hollywood movie ‘Baywatch’. The movie is all set to release on Indian screens on June 2nd. The censor board of India has approved the movie with five cuts and an ‘A’ certificate. The news says that the five cuts that have been made in the movie include one visual and four verbal cuts. The movie had some verbal cuss words and statements which have been altered from the movie. The censor board stated that they had no issues with the swimming costumes or the bikini-clad women in the movie. Recently The Ministry of Information & Broadcasting instructed Censor Board of Film Certification (CBFC) to get rid of all possible signs of verbal and physical violence against women in the films. CBFC was instructed that not even a woman being slapped on face will be allowed to be shown in a movie. Even if the movie’s subject is domestic violence, all they can show is a swollen face or black eye but not the process of how she got one. The movie stars Dwayne Johnso, and Zac Efron, whereas the Bollywood lass Priyanka Chopra will be seen in the movie performing the negative character of Victoria Leeds. The movie is based on the famous television series of 90’s by the same name. ‘Baywatch’ story revolves around the team of lifeguards who petrol around the beaches and their interpersonal relationships.
