Asha Parekha Supports Rishi Kapoor’s Anger on Young Generation Actors

Veteran actor Asha Parekh supports her fellow actor Rishi Kapoor’s anger against the young generation actors in Bollywood for not attending Vinod Khanna’s funeral last week. He was really upset with the fact that none of the actors bothered to attend the funeral of the Veteran Actor. Not even those with whom he worked in recent past. Expressing his anger, Rishi Kapoor had recently tweeted: “Shameful. Not ONE actor of this generation attended Vinod Khanna's funeral. And that too he has worked with them. Must learn to respect. (sic)” On asking about her take on the incident, she said “I am aware of what he (Rishi Kapoor) said, and he is right. The younger generation doesn’t give that much importance to such things,” She also mentioned that she personally has no such experience of being disrespected by any young actor. As per her she has always been treated with respect whenever she has met a junior actor. “I am not so close to anyone from the present generation of actors as such. But whenever they meet me, they do so with a lot of respect,” added Parekh. In her conversation she remembered the late Vinod Khanna — her co-star in films such as Aan Milo Sajna (1970), Mera Gaon Mera Desh (1971), Adha Din Adhi Raat (1977) and Main Tulsi Tere Aangan Ki (1978) — She said, “He was a wonderful person.... a handsome and macho guy. He had a beautiful and magical smile. It was nice working with him. He was such a warm person to be around.” You May Also Like Rishi Kapoor Upcoming Movies Bollywood Movies 2017 Box Office Collection Upcoming Movies List
