Akal Takht angry on Akshay Kumar's "Singh Is Bling"

Akshay's upcoming movie "Singh Is Bling" has now been in news due to controversy. Akal Takht have demanded the director and producer of the movie to remove those scenes and dialogues from the movie in which the religion is being portrait negatively. Before this also "Nanak Shah Fakeer", "Singh Shab The Great" and "Son Of Sardar" have also had to face anger from the community. Singh Is Bling will release this year on 2 October. Although when the trailer of the movie was launched on 19 August some people of the Sikh community have created obligations regarding some scenes and dialogues used in the movie. In one dialogue it was being said that "chicken, whisky, bhangara, kabaadi and Golden Temple are the 5 main attractions of Punjab". This was being obligated by the Akal Takht and they demanded such dialogues to be removes from the movie. The head of Akal Takht said that using Golden Temple in such a way was wrong and also the bangle that Sikh used to wear has been depicted in a different way. He feels that the director and producer had to first talk to the Sikh community befire finalizing the script. He said no one has the right to negate the religion The Akal Takht have also said to the Punjab government to keep an eye on the trailer. Singh is Bling is an action movie that has been directed by Prabhu Deva. In the film along with Akshay Kumar, Lara Dutta and Amy Jackson are also in lead role.
