Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's father hospitalized in Mumbai

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's father Krishnaraj Rai has been admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai, confirmed the Bollywood actress' publicist. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan visited the hospital on Tuesday. Abhi-Ash was clicked exiting the hospital late night. They were dressed in white. Meanwhile, on the work front, speculations are rife that Abhi-Ash will make a comeback together on screen. Seven years after they worked in Mani Ratnam's 'Raavan', Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are likely to team up again for a project titled 'Gulab Jamun'. We hear Anurag Kashyap-led Phantom Films will produce the film to be helmed by a novice. In a recent Instagram post, Junior B had shared a picture with Ash from the set of 'Raavan'. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan have been giving us relationship goals since the time they got hitched and married. They were in the news recently when grapevine was abuzz with the news of Anurag Kashyap roping in this couple for a romantic comedy titled Gulab Jamun. While there is no official confirmation on this, we got to see some pictures early in the morning which got us all worried. What do you ask? Well, the couple has been spotted rushing to the Lilavati Hospital last night and we wonder what must have happened in the Bachchan household. Well, we know for a fact that Aishwarya’s father was hospitalized a few days ago. We hope he is doing well now. Just a few days ago, Abhishek had flown in from Dubai to Mumbai just to be with his ailing father in law. Ash too was seen struggling between taking cares of her daughter Aaradhya, managing work and taking care of her father. We don’t know if Abhi-Ash were in Lilawati for the same reason or not.
