Aditi Rao Hydari On ‘Padmavati’ Controversy Says She Doesn’t Understand Her Country Anymore

‘Padmavati’ controversy is the issue which is everywhere, from news channels to daily newspapers, it has been one of the biggest controversies of the year, as we know, Sanjay Leela Bhansali directed ‘Padmavati’ was supposed to release on 1sr December this year but the controversy went so far that the makers had to postpone the release date of the movie, and now the new release date has not been announced. Aditi Rao Hydari, who is playing an important part in the films, says that she fails to understand the mindset of the people in this controversy. She also said that she loves her country but doesn’t understand it anymore. “Why aren’t people this vocal and demanding when a woman gets raped, I don’t get it, she said. “I don’t understand what this country is becoming, can I have my country back please”, she said. According to the makers of the movie, ‘Padmavati’ is the tribute to the Rajput queen Rani Padmini, which is played by Deepika Padukone in the movie. The controversy is that there are rumours that the movie features Rani Padmini and Alauddin Khilji has a controversial scene in the movie; however, Sanjay Leela Bhansali himself refused to that and said that there’s no sequence between Rani Padmini and Alauddin Khilji. The movie also stars Shahid Kapoor as Raja Ratan Singh and Ranveer Singh as Alauddin Khilji, well, the movie looks interesting but we don’t know when it will release, we hope it comes out soon and we will get to see another brilliant work of Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
