Actress Alka Kaushal Gets Sentenced For Two Years Of Jail By A District Court

The news that is doing rounds on the internet is that the actress Alka Kaushal has got into a legal trouble. The actress and her mother have been sentenced to two years in jail by the Malerkotla District Court. The Alka Kaushal and her mother, Susheela Badola have been charged in a cheque bounce case. Alka who is known for her negative role in famous television series ‘Qubool Hai’ and who was also seen playing Kareena Kapoor’s mother in 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan', has been charged by an acquaintance Avtar Singh stating that she and her mother borrowed a sum of Rs. 50 Lakhs from him for some serial-making. Later when he asked for his money, the two gave him two cheques of 25 lakhs each which got bounced. Addressing to the complaint the report has come that she along with her mother has been sentenced to two years imprisonment. Post this news broke on the internet, another news surfaced that the actress has been hospitalised for her Blood Pressure issue, however when his brother Varun Badola came forward and said that the news of her hospitalisation is false. She is in Delhi and their advocate is challenging the order against his family in High Court.
