A R Rahman to face "fatwa" by giving music in movie on Muhammad Sahab
One Sunni group of Mumbai has registered ban against popular singer A R Rahman and Iranian film maker Majid Majidi. Named as Raza Academy has registered complaint against Majidi for hurting the sentiments of Muslims with his movie "Muhammad: The Messenger of God".
It has been said that the picture of Muhammad Sahab could not be used or kept. It is like a joke on Islam. In this professional actors have worked and some of them are Muslims. Those who are Muslims, they are now banned and they again need to read Kalma.
How the film is being made?
Muhammad : The Messenger of God has been released on 27 August. The director of the movie is Majid Majidi.
The cost of the movie is around 253 crore rupees. It is the most expensive film in Iran.
In an interview with the Iranian magazine Majidi said that he has made this movie with the increase in terror of Muslims in the Western countries.
The film has been made in 3 parts. In this the childhood story of Paigambar Sahab is shown. The face of the actor doing his role has not been shown.
After the release of the film it has been in controversy. It has been in new that Al-Azhar is unhappy with the movie.
