A 59 years old man assaulted for not standing during the national anthem in Dangal

A few months ago Supreme Court ordered that before screening any film the cinema halls have to play the national anthem. After this verdict, lots of people raised question against it even Akshay Kumar's wife and former actress Twinkle Khanna also put the question on it. Many people said that there will be lots of violation can happen during this. Now some bad effects have been seen in recent time. Everyone knows that there is a scene in the film Dangal when Aamir Khan's daughter means Mahavir Singh Phogat's daughter Geeta Phogat wins a gold medal so immediate after that the national anthem plays. Now recently one case has come in the limelight where one 59 years old person got assaulted for not standing while the national anthem is going on in the cinema hall. Mandatory to play national anthem in cinema halls The police said that incident has taken place in one cinema hall of suburban Goregaon on Wednesday. According to police, Amalraj Daasan went to watch the film Dangal in the theater and during one scene in which the national anthem was going on he didn't stand on it so one person punched him. The police have recognized the charged person as Shirish Mudhkar and Police has registered the case.
