'Sachin: A Billion Dreams' Goes Tax Free In Kerala And Chhattisgarh

'Sachin: A Billion Dreams', a film based on the life of legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, has been declared tax-free in Kerala and Chhattisgarh.  The decision was taken by the cabinet of each state, in agreement with government policies. Produced under the banner of 200 Not Out by producer Ravi Bhagchandka, 'Sachin: A Billion Dreams' is directed by British filmmaker James Erskine. The story sketches the journey of cricketer Sachin Tendulkar from his childhood to present times. It takes us through all the challenges he has faced and achievements he has made in his cricket career. Not only this, it also covers details about his personal life all these years and how has his family supported him all the way through in his journey. The movie encompasses his intense practice sessions, missing on important events of life due to his dedication and passion for cricket and much more. The producer of the movie expressed his gratitude towards the authorities of the state who have taken a decision of making the movie tax-free as that will make more and more people witness the remarkable and inspiring journey of the cricketer and will get to learn on how to strive through the darkest phase of one’s life. The music for the biographical drama has been composed by AR Rahman and the movie is all set for a worldwide release on May 26.
