Richa Chadha To Play Paro In Sudhir Mishra’s ‘Daasdev’

Now, we will be getting another remake of Saratchandra Chattopadhyay’s classic novel ‘Devdas’, the story has been adapted by many filmmakers, the first time we saw the story was in 1955, and it was directed by Bimal Roy starring Dilip Kumar, Vyjayanthimala and Suchitra Sen in the lead role, then in 2002 Sanjay Leela Bhansali came up with his version of the story starring Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai, and Madhuri Dixit and finally in 2009 Anurag Kashayap’s modern take on the story was released starring Abhay Deol, Maahi Gill, and Kalki Koeichlin. Now, we will be getting another movie on the story, this time directed by Sudhir Mishra and it would be interesting to see his version of the story. As per the reports, Richa Chadha will be playing the role of Paro in the movie, while Aditi Rao Hydari will be seen as Chandramukhi. Rahul Bhatt will play the role of Daasdev. Richa has proved her credibility as an actor, every time she comes in a movie, she does nothing but impresses the audience, she has done amazing performances in the movies like ‘Gangs Of Wasseypur’, ‘Masaan’, ‘Fukrey’, the web series ‘Inside Edge’ and many more. It will be interesting to see her portraying a strong character like Paro. She will next be seen in Ali Fazal, Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma and Manjot Singh starrer ‘Fukrey Returns’, which will release on 8^th December. Talking about her role in ‘Daasdev’, she said that she is excited to work with Sudhir Mishra. “He has mentored so many filmmakers and directed some films that made me want to be an actor when I was growing up”, she said.
