Ranveer Singh To Start The Film With Rohit Shetty Next Year

Recently, it was announced that Ranveer Singh will be collaborating with Rohit Shetty in his next film and quite frankly, it is one of the collaborations people want to see. When it was officially announced, people got excited as they want to see Ranveer in a hardcore action film. Right now, both Rohit and Ranveer are busy with their projects, Rohit’s highly awaited ‘Golmaal Again’, which is just days away from its release, while Ranveer is busy promoting his film ‘Padmavati’, which will hit the screens on 1^st December. Rohit, in a recent interview, said that he is thrilled to work with Ranveer and he is one of his favourite actors in Bollywood right now. “I will start my film with Ranveer next year around May and June. It is a hardcore action film and people will love to see him in that role. I think Ranveer can be one hell of an action hero, he has the look and he has the charisma”, he said. Rohit is also planning to make the remake of Anil Kapoor and Jackie Shroff’s 1989 super hit film ‘Ram Lakhan’. He is currently working on the script of Ranveer Singh’s film, which will more likely to hit the screens by the end of 2018 or start of 2019. Ranveer also has some interesting projects in hand right now, which includes Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Gully Boy’, where he will portray the role of a rapper and Kabir Khan’s film based on India’s 1983 World Cup, where Ranveer will be seen as then-captain Kapil Dev. It would be interesting to see Ranveer in a Rohit Shetty film, it is something which Ranveer has never done and his fans will love to see him in that genre.
