Ranbir Kapoor And Alia Bhatt's Upcoming Movie 'Dragon' Gets A New Name

Ayan Mukherji, who last gave us ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewaani’ has been working on his next project for quite some time. The movie was tentatively titled ‘Dragon’ earlier and was announced with Ranbir and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles. But now the reports have come that the makers have decided to change the title of the movie and the new title of the movie will be ‘Brahmastra’. As per the Indian mythology, ‘Brahmastra’ is considered to be one of the most powerful weapons [astra] which were created by Brahma [God of Creation] himself. According to many epic sagas, this Astra or weapon was used in several wars because it leads to complete destruction. The only condition is that the Brahmastra is allowed to be used with a specific intent. Though the makers are yet to make an official announcement about the movie’s title, recently Karan Johar who happens to produce the movie asserted that the movie will not be named ‘Dragon’, which makes the new name revealed by the sources almost confirmed. Karan Johar in past had a successful collaboration with both Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. Where Alia gave successful ‘Student Of The Year’ and ‘Badrinath Ki Dhulania’ Ranbir, worked with him ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’.
