Rajkummar Rao Says Being Vocal About Sexual Harassment If You Are A Victim Is Important

Rajkummar Rao is one of the charismatic actors in Bollywood working today, recently he has given back to back successful films like ‘Trapped’, ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ and of course, ‘Newton’, which is the official Indian pick for the Oscars next year. And currently, he is been seen in the web series ‘Bose: Dead Or Alive’, where he is playing the role of India’s most controversial man Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. Well, Raj in a recent interview was asked how he plays so many characters with a different avatar, he replied by saying that it depends on who he playing, for Bose he had to gain some weight to look believable if the character demands him to lose some weight, he will. “My responsibility is to make a character work. I make all the efforts to make a fulfill the demand of my character. Like for Bose, I have to shave half of my head, I couldn’t do anything, I choose to do it because it was needed for the character”, he said. Talking about sexual harassment, the actor said that it exists everywhere and you have to be vocal about it if you are a victim because that only empowers such predators. Raj will next be seen with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anil Kapoor in ‘Fanney Khan’, he will be portraying the role of Aishwarya’s on-screen love interest, now this is certainly a big thing for the actor, this year has been a great year for the actor, first back to back super hit films, then the announcement of his film going to the Oscars and now working with stars like Aishwarya and Anil. He is certainly going to have a very successful career in the Industry, there’s no doubt about that.
