Punjabi Actor-Singer Jassi Gill To Play The Lead In 'Happy Bhaag Jayegi Returns'

Recently we informed you that after the success of 2016’s Diana Penty starrer ‘Happy Bhaag Jayegi’ the makers have recently announced the second installment of it which will star Sonakshi Sinha in the main lead. It is said to be two lead pair movies this time, with Diana Penty and Sonakshi Sinha and two male actors. And now the latest news on it has come that Punjabi actor-singer Jassie Gill, will be seen playing the male lead opposite Sonakshi in the movie. If the news is to be believed, the movie will mark singer’s Bollywood debut. Jassie has already done a role in Mr. & Mrs 420 in 2014. Though nothing more has been revealed about the plot of the movie 'Happy Bhaag Jayegi Returns', nor about the actor’s role in the movie. Reports also claim that Jassie Gill had left the director of the movie Mudassar Aziz impressed with his audition. The shooting for the movie has already commenced and it is heard that Jassi will soon be joining the team which is already shooting in Amritsar. Besides Amritsar, the movie is to have an extensive shoot schedule in China too. So this leaves us guessing that probably this time when Happy will elope she might land up in China!
