This ‘Padmavati’ controversy is quite frankly going too far. Now, people have a problem with dancing on the movie’s song. Recently, the first song from the movie released titled ‘Ghoomar’, which featured Deepika Padukone, who is playing Rani Padmini in the movie dancing. Karni Sena criticized it by saying that Rajput women didn’t use to dance in front of people, the said that Rani Padmini was the queen, not dancer. Now, politician Mulayam Singh Yadav’s daughter in law Aparna Yadav performed in the song at the occasion of her brother’s engagement, She was seen leading a group of women dancers and they performed on ‘Ghoomar’. It is as if she is trying to tease us and rub salt in their wounds. They are taking this issue too far where none of them knows the fact, none of them has seen the movie and they have formed an opinion on this. The movie was supposed to release on 1st December but due to the controversy, the makers had to postpone the release date. The rumours say that the movie might release on 26th January but the official announcement has not been made as of now. Ranveer Singh, who is playing the role of Alauddin Khilji in the movie, said that he is concerned about Sanjay Leela Bhansali. “At this point, for him to go through all of this is extremely difficult considering the amount this man has suffered, sacrificed and fought to make this film”, Ranveer said.
