REVIEW:- Julie 2’ directed by Deepak S Shivdasani, is the contender of the worst movies of 2017, the movie has nothing to watch out for. The movie hammers home the point that an ordinary girl who harbours dreams of becoming a leading lady in the film industry, cannot reach the pinnacle of success relying on her talent alone.

Now, Raai Laxmi, who has played the lead role in the movie is a talented actress and has given some good performances in the past in South Indian movies, this is her Bollywood debut and the only thing we can say that this is not a very good choice to make her debut, she could have done a good job but the script of this movie is just not good. Well, the movie also stars talented actors like Pankaj Tripathi and Ravi Kishan and quite frankly, we don’t know why they have done this film. Now, it’s that the story is bad or something like that but the screenplay and the direction just didn’t work here, it’s boring without a point and at the theatre, you are like ‘why am I watching this film in the first place’.

The Film Industry, Deepak S Shivdasani showed in this film does not exist in the real world and when he came to know that he decided to make it an erotic thriller, which is pointless. The point of the movie is to make the audience care about the characters but no, here only thing you care is when the movie ends and you go and have a good sleep. Shivdasani tried to make this old-school masala movie but failed miserably. The dialogues must have been written to wolf-whistles but are cringe-worthy, to say the least. And of course, there are dance numbers too and it deserves to get neglected.

There was no point in making this film, the director wasted few months of the actor’s life, and it really is painful to watch this film. We are in 2017, where movies like ‘Newton’, ‘Lipstick Under My Burkha’ and ‘Kadvi Hawa’ are doing great, still, these movies exist.

WHY TO WATCH:- This is a complete skippable movie, but still if you want to watch, all power to you. Overall, this is just a time waste movie.
