Plot: Sidharth Malhotra’s action-romance ‘A Gentlemen: Sundar, Susheel, Risky’ is a story of an undercover agent and assassin who yearn to lead a crime-free, ordinary life.  He is happy and hearty in his nine to five job in the United States and looks forward to getting settled in life with his girlfriend Kavya. But on the other side, in India, there is this group named Unit X lead by actor Suniel Settee, who are a group of assassins. And all hell breaks loose when one of his most trusted, Malhotra, attempts to escape the crime-filled circle. So the plot revolves around an identity theft and a stolen hard disk that endangers Unit X’s survival.

Review: The movie is full of gloss and glamour, you see bullets are being sprayed recklessly, a lot of action, guns and roses and very less of a story around it. Especially when you see the two leads in a swish suburban villa in Miami and then a gun-toting bunch of undercover agents trying to kill them but instead of feeling for the actors (whose lives are at risk) you feel sad for the swanky sofa and the carefully arranged cushions in the living room being shot to bits, that is the moment when you realise that the story isn’t working.

The movie is an action packed thriller with romance, minus any melodrama and that is the only power of the movie. But then you have songs which are inserted here and there without much need.

Sidharth Malhotra carries the movie forward with his amazing talent, and on the other hand, Jacqueline Fernandez is given a glorified silly brunette role. In one scene she is seen over-speeding in Miami and then she threatens to sue the cops for racism. The entire scene was probably build up to make her appear cute and eccentric, but it comes across as irritating behaviour.

Actor Suniel Shetty is good in the movie; apart from him, the supporting cast is just too good with the comic moments.

The movie totally relies heavily on Malhotra’s brooding, worked out shoulders. He looks handsome in The chemistry between the two leads is crackling.

Why To Watch: The movie is all gloss and glamour, it is good for a one time watch, The action in the movie is good.
