Plot:The movie ‘Babumoshai Bandookbaaz’ is about two bounty hunters of small town Babu Bihari (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) and Banke Bihari (Jatin Goswami) and a challenge between the two on who will kill first and more. Bidita Bag plays the role of Phulwa in the movie love interest of Nawazuddin Siddiqui and is a cobbler by profession. The two of them come close after Babu fulfils a bounty ordered by Phulwa. The movie revolves around the dare between Babu and Banke and all of it gets mixed with politics.
Review:‘Babumoshai Bandookbaaz’ is a weak movie tried to be pulled off by Babu’s (Nawazuddin) heroism and Phulwa’s (Bidita Bag’s) skin show, but alas still the script of the movie fails drastically to impress. Even the fine acting skills of the actors like Divya Dutta and Murali Sharma couldn’t help to save the movie or even managed to keep you intrigued till the end.
The Director Kushan Nandy drags the movie from the start to the end on a one-line plot and fails to maintain the grip. Though yes, the movie has some high moments, good and solid dialogue deliveries but actually not enough to make the movie exceptionally well executed or even any close to being likeable.
The script of the movie is very weak and the director needs to understand that with Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the movie minus a good script can’t make a movie entertaining. The music of the movie is varied and is the only good thing in the movie.
This time again Nawazuddin stands out with his exceptional acting skills, but poor him the script doesn’t do any justice to his efforts. He fails to create the persona he built in ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’.
Why To Watch:The movie has nothing much to grasp, the script is weak and hence far from being an entertainer. We suggest you to watch it at your own risk.
