Manikarnika : Kangana's Historical Tribute to The "Queen of Jhansi" Release Date is Finalised

Bollywood ''Queen" Kangana Ranaut is all set to become a real queen for her upcoming movie "Manikarnika" a historical tribute to the bravest queen of Jhansi. Kangana will portray the role of the warrior Rani Laxmibai. Trade Analyst Took the twitter to launch the official release date of the film which is 25 Jan 2019 ( Independence Day) Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi is an upcoming Indian epic biographical film. It is being directed by Krish and produced by Zee Studio in association with Kamal Jain & Nishant Pitti. The shooting schedule of the film began in May 2017.  Initially, the film was scheduled to release on 27 April 2018 but later postponed to be released in January 2019. Lakshmi Bai is a queen of bravery and played a vital role in the freedom movement of the country. In order to pay tribute to the great warrior the much-awaited teaser of ‘Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi’ will be out on the eve of Independence Day this year. The makers were initially eyeing for the Independence Day release this year. However, the film will now reportedly hit the screens during the Republic weekend next year. For the film, Kangana has been gone through some regress training session which we can guess from the picture that were taking circles across social media and making us eager for the film. she was spotting learning horse-riding for the film in which she plays Rani Lakshmibai of Jhansi. In a few behind the scene stills from the sets of the film, Kangana can be seen seated on a white horse being dressed in a white sari and royal jewellery with her tresses flying behind her as she races ahead. During the shoot, Kangana has injured which left her forehead with a scary scar. She was hospitalized twice for the same but soon after she came back on set which showcases her hard work and dedication for it. Being directed by Krish, the film also features Sonu Sood, Ankita Lokhande, Atul Kulkarni and Jissu Sengupta in pivotal roles.
