Laxmii: Overseas Box Office Collection details in Australia, NZ, Fiji

The comedy horror movie, 'Laxmii' received a digital premiere on the OTT platform Disney+ Hotstar. The film gained tremendous popularity ever since it digitally streamed on 9 November, 2020. Featuring Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani in the lead roles, the movie stood out as a different yet a very unique entertainer. While the movie premiered on a digital OTT platform in India, makers also launched Laxmii overseas in the following countries: Australia, New Zealand and Fiji. The viewers abroad were fairly impressed with Laxmii following which the movie successfully garnered an amazing Box Office Collection in the overseas markets after the movie was released in these countries on 9 November, 2020. While the movie released in overseas markets on 9 November, the Box Office Collection till date i.e., 26 November, 2020 has also been revealed, the details of which have been given below.

·         In Australia, the movie garnered a Box Office Collection of a whopping A$ 183,364 which stands to be Rs 99.75 lakhs according to India currency.

·         In New Zealand, the movie garnered a Box office Collection of NZ$ 117,503 which stands to be Rs 60.84 lakhs according to Indian currency.

·         In Fiji, the movie garnered a Box Office Collection of FJ$ 124,886 which stands to be Rs 44.33 lakhs according to Indian currency.

Laxmii had roped in Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani in the lead roles along with actors Sharad Kelkar, Rajesh Sharma, Ayesha Raza Mishra, Manu Rishi Chadha, Tarun Arora, Mir Sarwar, Ashwini Kalsekar and others. The ensemble cast wooed the audience subject to which the amazing Box Office Collection was also made. Laxmii is a remake of the 2011 hit Tamil movie, 'Kanchana' and is based on the life of a man who gets possessed by the spirit of a person who happened to be transgender.

Laxmmi Bomb, the concept of which is as appealing as the title of the movie, has been done and dusted with already. Apart from that, the posters of the film that were released have also gained an enormous amount of attention from the public, which predict that the movie would make a good opening in the industry. The opening day of the movie also seems to rely on the performance that Salman's Radhe would do in the theatres.
