Imtiaz Ali To Work With Shahid Kapoor After 10 Years

Filmmaker Imtiaz Ali and actor Shahid Kapoor created magic in 2007 when they came up with the rom-com ‘Jab We Met’, the movie is considered to be one of the best rom-coms of this century. Well, this film helped both Imtiaz and Shahid in their career; Imtiaz went on give classics like ‘Love Aaj Kal’, ‘Rockstar’, ‘Highway’ and ‘Tamasha’. Shahid, on the other hand, gave amazing performances in ‘Kaminey’, ‘Haider’ and ‘Udta Punjab’. Now, the report suggests that they will be working together again, according to the reports; the movie will start in April next year, now it will be amazing to see Shahid Kapoor in an Imtiaz Ali film once again. Well, the rumours of these two working together have been floating for quite some time now and it looks like it is about to happen. Of course, Shahid will first be seen in ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ director’s Shree Narayan Singh’s ‘Battu Gul Meter Chalu’, where he will play the role of a lawyer, after that he will start working with Imtiaz in this film, the female lead has not been announced as of yet, let’s see who will work with Imtiaz in this film. Imtiaz’s last film with Shah Rukh Khan ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’, didn’t work out at the Box Office, it is stated as one of the biggest disappointing movies of the year, but with Shahid, Imtiaz is looking to make his return, as he has worked a big time for Imtiaz in ‘Jab We Met’. Shahid is getting ready for his next release ‘Padmavati’, where he will be seen as Raja Ratan Singh, with Deepika Padukone as Rani Padmini. The movie was scheduled to release on 1^st December but after the controversy, the makers had to postpone the release date.
