'Golmaal Again' Becomes 2nd Highest Grossing Film of 2017, Beats 'Judwaa 2'

Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty's Golmaal Again has been breaking several records at the box office. The movie has done phenomenal business in India. The fourth installments in Golmaal film franchise won millions of hearts in the country. The movie has entered in the second week and still going strong at box office. The movie has earned a whopping amount of Rs. 200 Crore worldwide. 'Golmaal Again' earned Rs. 6.5 Crore on its second Friday, which takes its total to Rs. 142.57 Crore. Ajay Devgn's film has not surpassed the box office collection of 'Judwaa 2', which featured Varun Dhawan, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Taapsee Pannu. The movie has dethroned 'Judwaa 2' and secured second place in the list of highest grossing films of 2017. The lifetime business of 'Judwaa 2' is Rs. 138 Crore in India. With Rs. 142.57 Crore, 'Golmaal Again' overtaken David Dhawan's film in just 8 days. The movie has emerged the first blockbuster of 2017. 'Golmaal Again' opened phenomenally well and took the biggest opening of the year behind magnum opus Baahubali: The Conclusion. The movie is continuing its golden run at the Indian box office in the second week. The film doesn't have any completion, as no big films are releasing this week. The film should do a very good business at the box office. The movie has received positive words of mouth, which is definitely going to help the movie in long run. 'Golmaal Again' is the fourth installment in popular Golmaal film franchise. The movie is directed by popular director Rohit Shetty. It features Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Parineeti Chopra, Arshad Warsi, Shreyas Talpade, Tusshar Kapoor, Kunal Khemu, Prakash Raj and Neil Nitin Mukesh.
