Deepika Padukone And Abhishek Bachchan Will Be Seen In Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Amrita Pritam Biopic

Actress Deepika Padukone is getting ready for her next movie ‘Padmavati’ directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali; now, it’s been reported that she will be seen in another SLB’s film, which will mark her fourth collaboration with the filmmaker, she will play the role of poet Amrita Pritam in the biopic, the movie will start after the release of ‘Padmavati’. It’s also been reported that she will be seen opposite Abhishek Bachchan, who will play the role of lyricist Sahir Ludhianvi. A source revealed that Abhishek has started preparing for his role in the movie. He is regularly listening to Sahir’s lyrics from Guru Dutt’s ‘Pyasa’ to Yash Chopra’s ‘Trishul’. Now, as we know, Abhishek’s father Mr. Amitabh Bachchan has worked with the lyricist in the movies like ‘Trishul’ and ‘Kabhi Kabhi’, so he might be able to help him. Earlier, it was reported that Shah Rukh Khan was supposed to do the role but things didn’t work out, before the release of ‘Raees’, Shah Rukh, even said that he is going to meet Sanjay to discuss the role of Sahir Ludhianvi, and before Deepika, the movie was with Priyanka Chopra but due to busy dates in Hollywood, Priyanka left the project. It would be interesting to see Deepika Padukone and Abhishek in this film, there’s no doubt that Sanjay Leela Bhansali would do a great job in making this film, and his vision of filmmaking will completely work for this story. The movie will show the interesting love story of Amrita and Sahir, Amrita was married to Pritam Singh, but when she met Sahir, she fell in love with him.
