Becoming Sanjay Dutt On Screen Was A Surreal Experience For Me Says Ranbir Kapoor

Ranbir Kapoor next film Sanjay Dutt Biopic is one of the most of the anticipated movies of 2018. Earlier, the movie was scheduled to release this December but the makers of the movie pushed the release date to avoid the clash with Salman Khan’s ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’. Now, we all know that Ranbir Kapoor will be playing the role of Sanjay Dutt in the movie and with the leaked pictures, he looked amazing. A source close to the movie revealed that Ranbir requested the director Rajkumar Hirani to reshoot few of the scenes. It also stated that Ranbir is a dedicated actor and will do anything to make things right. Now, this is a game-changing film for Ranbir, he has given some amazing performances in the past in the movies like ‘Jagga Jasoos’, ‘Tamasha’, ‘Barfi’, ‘Rockstar’ and many more. It’s another thing that most of his films doesn’t work at the Box Office but he always gives a good performance. In an interview, Ranbir said that becoming Sanjay Dutt on screen was a surreal experience for him. “He is closely attached to the film. He has come on set and has been supportive of us. It used to be surreal for me to perform in front of him. I feel like I am born to play this character. I hope, he loves my performance”, Ranbir said. Ranbir Kapoor has some interesting projects to come, after Sanjay Dutt biopic, he will be working on Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’, which will be a superhero film starring Amitabh Bachchan and Alia Bhatt along with Ranbir.
