Because Kyoki Saas Bhi kabhi Bahu Thi' was the most longest daily soap. Kyoki Saas Bhi kabhi bahu This was telecasted for 8 years. Whereas Ye Rishta is coming from 6 years. But Kyoki Saas has been left behind in terms of episode. Reason behind this is earliero on Star Plus, show used to come from Monday to Thursaday and now it comes from Monday to Saturday.
