Akshay Kumar might play the role of current Prime Minister Narendra Modi on-screen very soon. Earlier, the names like Paresh Rawal and Anupam Kher were pooping for the role of PM Narendra Modi. But now Akshay Kumar is the favourite one on the list. A source stated that Akshay has an incredible reach in our country. According to them, Akshay is the best choice for the role. His image in the Industry is like a no-nonsense, to the point, which is similar to our PM. “It would be incredible to make a biopic on the visionary Prime Minister, he has done a lot for the country and has contributed majorly in building the image of India globally. And to portray that man on screen, Akshay is the best choice,” added the source. BJP politician and actor Shatrughan Sinha said that Akshay is Mr. Clean of India and stated that his image will go well with the PM. Censor Board chairperson, Pahlaj Nihalani says, “The kind of work Akshay does is simply amazing, he is a visionary actor. He is slowly changing the Indian cinema. And also Akshay Kumar has grown to become a national star, just like Modiji. So, Akshay is certainly a strong possibility”. Akshay and Modi has a very good relationship, they often seen interacting with each other on social media platform. Recently, PM Modi, Tweeted congratulating Akshay for his humble contribution to the Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan with his upcoming movie ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’.  Akshay also replied to him thanking and saying that it was his honour. The movie has already been announced to be tax-free in the BJP running states, which is good news for Akshay. It would be truly amazing to see Akshay Kumar playing Narendra Modi in a biopic if it ever happens.
