'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha' Goes Under 8 Verbal Cuts By Censor Board

Akshay Kumar's ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ is finally approaching its release date. The movie has gone through many controversies and challenges and now the audiences are all set to experience it on the screens on the coming Friday. The movie is made keeping in mind a social message and it supports the cleanliness drive program ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan’.The movie is directed by debutant Shree Narayan Singh and will star Akshay Kumar, along with Bhumi Pednekar and Anupam Kher in important roles. The movie recently went to CBFC for a certification and as per a leading daily, it has to go under eight verbal cuts and is certified as a UA. The reports suggest that the cuts are some of the dialogues of Akshay’s character. Some swearing words like harami have also been removed from the movie. Recently, the movie faced a big problem where the movies second half was leaked online. It came as a major shock for the fraternity and the makers of the movie, but soon everything was under control. Post the incident Akshay has been urging fans to say no to piracy. At the work front, Akshay is presently working on his movie ‘Gold’ and was lately in London shooting for the movie.
