Sushant Singh Rajput Will Go To NASA For His Upcoming 'Chanda Mama Door Ke'

Sushant Singh Rajput is busy with the promotions of ‘Raabta’, which is going to release on 19^th June. He will be seen alongside Kriti Sanon and Jim Sarbh in the film. Along with promotions, the Actor is also focusing on his next project ‘Chanda Mama Door Ke’, which will feature him as an astronaut. In a recent interview, Sushant talked about his role in the film. He shared that he is happy that he will finally be using his knowledge of Science in his film. He said, “Science was my favorite subject and that was the reason why I took up engineering. I was always fascinated by the subject and in fact, my love for Science came after I watched the Hollywood movie 'Matrix'.” The big news that is making rounds is that Sushant Singh Rajput will go to NASA for the preparation of his upcoming film and will also take the Flying lessons. He also said that this is a very proud thing for him as none of his engineering friends has been to NASA. “I love sci-fi films, they always impressed me. This movie is going to be very close to my heart as it will lend me an opportunity to live like the astronauts do,” he said. The movie ‘Chanda Mama Door Ke’ will also feature Sushant Singh Rajput and Nawazuddin Siddiqui as the astronauts and R Madhavan as the pilot. The film will show the journey of Indian space program and culminates the astronauts landing on the moon. National Award winning director Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan will direct the film. This was Sanjay’s dream project for a long time, as he announced it on 2014. Finally, the film will release on 26^th January 2018.
