Sidharth Malhotra To Play Kargil Martyr Captain Vikram Batra In His Next Project

Sidharth Malhotra who was last seen in ‘A Gentleman’ has two more movies lined up for release which includes ‘Ittefaq’ and ‘Aiyaary’. And now the news about the next project that he is soon to sign is making the news. Now, the next movie that the actor is all set to sign is a biopic on Kargil martyr, Captain Vikram Batra. As per the sources, Sidharth Malhotra has been in talks for the role for a long time and he is really impressed by the script and the heroic story of the Kargil martyr. Some reports suggest that whatever happens, it will be him, who will play the role. He’s tight-lipped about the project for now, but he has given it the green signal. As Sidharth also comes from an Army family it is sure to help him in playing the role of the late Captain Batra on screen. In his upcoming movie ‘Aiyaary’ also he will be seen playing an army man. For the uninitiated The Captain, who lost his life on the battlefield, during the Kargil war fought between India and Pakistan was awarded the Param Vir Chakra. Such was his valour, which he was referred to as ‘Sher Shah’ in the intercepted messages exchanged by the members of the Pakistani Army.
