Shraddha Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor's 'Half Girlfriend' trailer will be out soon

Celebrated author Chetan Bhagat says the trailer and songs of the film "Half Girlfriend" which is based on his book of the same name -- will start rolling out from the end of March. "'Half Girlfriend' poster, trailer, songs will all start coming out around end March/ early April," Bhagat tweeted. Co-produced by Bhagat and directed by Mohit Suri, the film stars Shraddha Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor. It has been locked for release on May 19. Bhagat added "Absolutely extraordinary music in 'Half Girlfriend'. Best album in years hands down. Can't wait to share it all with you in a couple of weeks." Half Girlfriend is the third movie to be based on Chetan Bhagat's novel. The previous ones were - Kai Po Che! based on his novel The 3 Mistakes of My Life and 2 States based on the novel of the same name. The film had featured Arjun Kapoor in the lead role along with Alia Bhatt. Shraddha, who essays the character Ria Somani in the film shared a fresh still from the film which beautifully captures the essence of the storyline. 'Half Girlfriend' is helmed by Mohit Suri and also happens to be the first film to be shot inside the United Nations headquarters in New York City. Arjun Half Girlfriend is an upcoming Indian romantic comedy film based on the novel of the same name written by Chetan Bhagat. The film is directed by Mohit Suri and features Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles. Principal photography commenced in June 2016 and filming locations include New York City, Cape Town, Delhi, and Bihar. The film is scheduled for a worldwide release on 19 May 2017.
