Shahrukh Khan's 'Raaes' defamed my Father : Son of Gangster Latif

Ahmedabad court issued notice to the Bollywood superstar’s production house in response to a complaint filed by the son of a Gujrati gangster Abdul Latif. His son has demanded compensation for Defaming his father in the film Raees. Civil court judge RT Vatsani issued notices to Red Chillies Entertainment Private Limited, Khan’s production house, and co-producers Excel Entertainment and Rahul Dholakia Productions. Court has asked to answer till 11 May. Film is based on Latif's life. His son Mustaq Ahmad also sought injunction against the release of the film as well as its promotional material. It is said in the complaint that in the second part of the film, Latif has been shown in a bad way, which has damaged the family’s reputation. For this he has demanded 101 crores. People connected to the film said when the script of the film was written, then Latif's family was contacted and Producers said during the promotion that this film is based on the life of Latif.
