Box Office Collection - The Akshay Kumar, Ileana D'Cruz and Esha Gupta starring movie Rustom has hit the screens this week's Friday. The film is clashing with Hrithik Roshan starring movie Mohenjo Daro at the box office. The multi starring movie has collected 117.01 crores at the box office so far. The film is one of the most awaited films of the year as Akshay Kumar started its promotion with his first release of the year Airlift. The film is a story of a navy officer Rustom Pavri who has accused of murder of his wife Sinthiya Pavri's lover and his close friend Vikram Makhija. He has been accused for that he has killed his friend for being an affair with his wife but there are some hidden secrets in the murder which are connected with a national proud mission. Esha Gupta is playing Vikram Makhija's sister in the film. The film has been released on 2867 screens overall worldwide. The film has got 2317 screens in Indian and 550 screens in Overseas. The behind screens distribution is that the film is facing tough competition with Hrithik's Mohenjo Daro. Tinu Suresh Desai has directed this murder mystery film and it is his second directorial venture after giving a average horror film as 1920 London. Akshay Kumar and Neeraj Pandey are the producers of the film. Akshay Kumar is expecting a hat trick from this film as he has given two back to back 100 crores movies in recent past in this year as Airlift and Housefull 3.
