Rani Mukherjee Is Approached For Sanjay Dutt's 'Malang'

We recently came to know that Post Bhoomi, Sanjay Dutt will be working with Omung Kumar in the movie ‘The Good Maharaja’. And apart from that, the two will also be collaborating for Malang which will be directed by Aarambh Singh. But one thing which is still not confirmed is that who will be playing the leading lady in the movie. Now as per the news in a leading tabloid, Rani Mukherjee has been approached for the role opposite Sanjay. A source disclosed, "Sanjay, Aarambh and the producers of Malang are keen to work with Rani since they’ve never been paired on the big screen. Dutt plays an investigating officer who falls in love with a lady cop. Rani will need to look extremely fit for the part.” But looking at Rani’s movie selection in recent past, the actress has not signed any movie outside her husband Aditya Chopra's banner in the last few years." When one of the producers of the movie Sandeep Singh was asked about the same he said that he is an avid fan of Rani and she and Sanjay Dutt will make a good on screen couple which is sure to be loved by the audience. Rani's spokesperson confirmed the news of her being approached for the role. The movie ‘Malang’ is set to go on floors in the month of October and will be shot in the cities of Varanasi and Shimla.
