Plot – The story is the third installment of the ‘Sarkar’ series. Subhash Nagre or the Sarkar, who is omnipresent in all the three parts has been displayed as an old man who has vast influence over the masses. The character has lost his two sons ‘Vishnu (Kay Kay Menon) and Shankar (Abhishek Bachchan) and now is shown in the movie with his grandson Shivaji Nagre aka Cheeku played by Amit Sadh, two deputies Gokul played by Ronit Roy and Raman played by Parag and his ailing wife Pushpa (Supriya) for whom he is shown caring. While insiders of the house Cheeku and Gokul are seen warring over becoming a successor to the Sarkar, on other hand outsiders like a greedy Dubai-based businessman Michael Vallya who aspires to become a politician (Jackie Shroff), Govind Deshpande (Manoj Bajpai), a -broker Gandhi(Bajrangbali) and for some personal reasons Yami Gautam's character, have their own plans to destroy sarkar in 'Sarkar 3. Review- As we are connected with the central character ‘The Sarkar’ of the movie, most of the scenes appear as replicas from the previous versions. The look of the character sarkar in flowing robes, white beard and rudraksh beads around the neck looks impressive and domineering. The placement of all the characters in the movie is questionable though the acting skills displayed are commendable. The story progresses as it should, where the Sarkar has more foes than the previous parts but the execution of the movie lacks innovation. Direction - About direction of the movie we would like to say that the movie was held together nicely and it will be right to say that Raj Gopal Verma who in past have delivered strong movies like ‘Satya’ ‘Company’ and ‘Sarkar’, is now back in form. The Look that he wished to portray of Amitabh Bachchan, of an ‘Angry Man’, he could successfully do that. The dialogues of the movie at points are impressive, but in terms of the story, it is quite predictable at points. Music – As ‘Sarkar 3’ is labeled by the makers as the ‘Angrier than ever’, the music of the movie is created keeping that in mind. The movie has seven tracks that are written by Rohit Teotia and are composed by Ravi Shankar. The Ganesha Arti in husky voice of Amitabh Bachchan leaves a long lasting impact on the viewers. And the chants recited by Govinda are also aptly placed as the background score all through the movie. Why To Watch- Go and watch the movie to appreciate the acting talent and angrier version of Legendary Amitabh Bachchan. Apart from it if you have followed the first two parts of the Sarkar Series and admired the story line, this one is definitely for you to watch.
